I just returned from the Ring the 24th.

Great time and still just 15 euros a lap.

i'm going to germany on the 4th and the ring the 6th for a week. really looking forward to it. any pointers?

 

I only did 2 laps so really can't help much. I know the experts there say most 'offs' happen on the first lap or after one thinks they know the track and it bites them.

I thought it was a very well maintained track considering the traffic it seemed to have.

I would recommend showing up, at least initially, when it is open for a short evening-we showed up when it was open for 1+45. Only a handful of cars...which meant you rarely saw another car on the track-nice to get used to it.
