I'm driving there for almost 5 years now.
Now that I have a Subaru, things are going pretty fast....
Recently I had a 1 day driving course, just to know the driving lines and danger points.
But now I'm offered a private lesson on the Nurburgring.
It will cost about 700 £ for a 1 day private lesson, included track time but with my own car and insurance...
I find this a little on the expensive side, what do you think ?

hell yeah that's expensive in yer own car... just do loads of passenger laps with MattOz or someone similar... that's what i'm aiming to do anyway, then get him in your car if he's willing.

Try www.scuderia-hanseat.de very good course, learn the track corner by corner, 4 days, lots of track time and probably more use than a single day. All done in your own car. 1435 Euros this year, although they aren't running again until next year (they do 2 courses per year) book ASAP as they fill up very quickly, the deposit ios refundable if you can't go or they can mov e you to the next course instead of a refund.

The best answer as said earlier loads of passenger laps.
I managed 27 laps over the weekend with some very good drivers.I certainly feel that I should be able to set a reasonable lap time and have got to know the ring well enough to know which bend is coming up and the one after.
John if you're interested I fancy a trip in November 22/23 assuming my replacement passport is back in time as my good lady decided to give it a spin..in the wash!
Maybe she's trying to drop a hint :-)
