had a great day today and all the mods worked great
my best time was 1min. 28.1 is this good compared to other scoobynetters
i know all the escort monster power coosies the best they were doing was 1min. 31s so pleased i was quicker than them but what about cars such as mellows cossie it would be nice to compare

Anything under 1 min 30 is fantastic. Your car was already a quick scoob as far as I'm concerned !
2 weeks ago at Donny in this current 4x4 Cossie on fecked road tyres I was doing consistent 1 min 23 secs......
The massive specced 2WD Cossie with 452 bhp I had a couple of months ago did several consitent 1 min 17 secs it was a very, very special car in the dry !
Best ever time in a scoob was in my last Type RA V Ltd but again it was far from std and on slicks at 1 min 21 secs......
The best the P1 ever did was when my old mate Craig H in his monster STi5 but on road tyres and me in my well set up P1 (std engine) but on slicks had a great SIDC day there in November 2001 and we clocked consistent 1 min 23 secs !!!!
I'll be there March the 1st in a stock std STi 5.....that'll be interesting

X-scooby.....
There was only 1 monster powered cossie and he was much faster in a lap than yer self mate
The reyland cossie is only 330bhp
135 down the straight is cool, but i think we almost hit 150 in 6th gear

Slicks are cheating Mellow
Xsooby,
What have you done engine wise to get 135 down the backstraight?
A P1 struggles to do that.
Not being funny but would've thought running your suspension setup and getting 135 down the backstraight (which means you need a lot of corner speed leading onto it) that you would be under 1.25?
As Dingy says, only hi powered Cossie was the grey one.
The yellow Ibiza was very quick too.
JohnF in his 2nd lap in our Westie did 1.20. Think he only did about 120mph down the back straight.

no offense taken but 6 pasengers 1 extra driver all have seen 130 minimum on the speedo ask 1 of the evo owners or either of the 2 p1 owners how fast i was travelling on that straight
also dont like to get into 4th gear i just let it bounce off the rev limiter in third (which on my speedo is 101) down the craner curves and going up the hill feels like i have more control over the car so i lose 1-2 seconds becouse of that maybe
i have app. 290-300bhp
oh and dingy the grey coloured cossie certainly looked very very fast so i must of been timing the wrong laps
i certainly dont want to start a mine is faster than yours debate as there are obviously plenty out there who would put us to proper shame

Sorry mate, i timed him in the last session, and was faster than 1.26, didn't time him earlier on as didn't see the point.
New box, new brakes, new to circuit etc......
Sorry if you think i was being funny but i wasn't.
I never time scoobs anymore as they don't really interest me, the MK2's were flying tho......Old Skoool kicking arris
