Hi all.

Not a regular, infact I dont even own a Scoob (got me a nice quick little 200SX )but I thought I'd let you all know about a Top Speed Day being held on 3rd November at RAF Woodbridge, near Ipswich. Its being set up by one of the members of the SXOC but all are welcome.

We have a 2.5 mile long runway to play with, 1.7 miles of which is dedicated to the top speed runs and quarter mile times. Timing isdone with professional Tag Heuer timing gear.

It costs £30 to run for the day, £10 to spectate.

Hurrah!! Someone replied.

And there was me thinking that none of you like going fast.

Anyway, follow the A12 to Ipswich, then left onto the A14 to Felixstowe, over the Orwell bridge then take the turn-off onto the A12 again. Follow this to Melton and then turn off onto the A1152. Follw this and look at the link.... http://uk.multimap.com/map/browse.cg...in.x=8&in.y=14 ....and the airfield is along the stretch heading towards Eyke.

I think there will be some signs with 'TSC' on them from the A12.

Isn't that the place i went to do Driven ?? or was that Brentwaters?

I dont know what you did for Driven but I suspect it was at Bentwaters which is just over the road from RAF Woodbridge.

 

sounds good mate but working that day but i would be intrested anyother time
