Default Wagon Drop links

Hi,

Getting a fair bit of clunking / knocking from the front of my '03 WRX wagon over bumps and when i corner hard I get a clunk so I think that the drop links are shot.

They're the OEM plastic links at the moment, if I'm replacing them I might as well fit something better, are newage WRX wagon's the same fitment as Classics?

I'm looking at these:

Cheers,

Scott

The C shaped rear ones do but the front ones don't as they sit on a weird angle so you'll need rose jointed front ones which will start knocking after a while (been there done that).

Get standard ones on the front or non-rose jointed ones if you want peace of mind.

Hi Scott

I've used on our wagon CDF droplinks which has been OK for us,but still I would choose WhiteLine, although we are run Eibach ARB's

And agree about the rear droplinks,do not use adjustable rear droplinks, you can hate them

Thanks,Jura

I've got the front and rear whiteline links already. Will be going on the car on Saturday.

Do saloon rear ARB's fit the wagon? Looking to keep the front ARB as it is and put a thicker rear on.

Hi Scott

Have look on this thread

http://www.wrxtuners.com/forums/f53/...-s-same-15387/

We are used saloon Eibach ARB's,if you will go with lateral arms/links at rear my recommendation go with GC/GF,those will fit,but not from GD models due yours rear adjustable droplinks will sit in strange angle

Thanks,Jura

Ok so I can use a Saloon rear ARB, I thought they might have been wagon specific but that opens up the options alot!

I uprated front droplinks, rear droplinks and to 24mm rear ARB all which were wagon/saloon.
I also fitted a detachable rear strutbrace which I thought helped.
The wagon does have narrower tracking over the saloon and combined with it's shape does give a tendancy to roll on standard shocks.

I fitted the Whiteline ARB links front and rear yesterday, pretty straight forward, feels a fair bit taughter for it too.

It's already on Prodrive springs, so next job will be a bigger rear ARB as the standard one is pretty pony!
