Default D2 coilover question/poss issue.

Past couple of days there has been a knocking noise from the passanger side rear, going to get it on the ramp tomo and see if anything is a miss, maybe a drop link as its noticeable over bumps. Can only describe the noise as when going over uneven ground it's like the seatbelt is knocking against the door (it's not btw). So if worse scenario is that the shock needs replacing (best to replace both) would you just replace them (no idea on cost) or opt for a replacement second hand set? Any help appreciated

Hi there

I would check shock/droplink etc,but can be just minor problem like this

Replacing shocks not sure, they can be rebuild'd but if its worth to do so,not sure, how much this can cost

Yeah that's sort of what I'm experiencing. It seems to get more aparant the longer I drive, initial start up etc is fine. Will have a nose on the ramp tomo, thanks for the reply Jura

As it happens it was noise free all the way to work, will get it checked though.
