Tein Street Basis
Hi,
I have a 2003 STi and the standard shock absorbers need replacing. I've just fitted a load of Superpro bushes and anti lift kit, and am thinking that as I need to replace the shocks I may as well upgrade them.
I've been recommended the subject coilovers by a local subaru tuner and he strongly advised me not to go for BCs.
Has anyone tried these? I think he said the recommended ride height for these is 45mm drop on the front and 35mm I think for the rear.
Any input is greatly appreciated.

Well, we have another option.
Got a group buy going on for the MeisterR Zeta-R coilovers, and 20% off.

The specs are much higher than the Tein Basis, as the Zeta-R are similar specs as the Tein MonoFlex but without the harsh ride quality that many are worried about.
If you have any questions, please feel free to let us know.

I Have Tein type flex on my car, they work quite well, but there not cheap, 1 step up from the streets, allowing you to adjust height /spring rate independently.
They where recommended to me over BC's etc.
They work very well on track, can be a little stiff for some of our B roads mind. and they are rebuild-able etc.
