Default Geometry question

Evening all

Just a quick question, how different is the geometry settings on the Hawkeye sti and the WRX?

The reason I ask is my WRX has just been done and it says STI at the top of the sheet. worries I might be scrubbing the tyres.

Only other thing to throw in the mix is I have the sti wheels which are wider...

Any views welcome

Cheers

Oh dear, that's not looking too good

When I say that, it's a very 'mild' setting. OK for pootling around, but that's it

The setting are not even and balanced, and of particular concern is the o/s front camber - basically there is none. As soon as you go even the mildest of bend and into the damper travel you'll be onto the outside edge of the tyre with poor grip

At least hey've maged to get the toe's pretty even, even though they are parallel

Just had a look on autodata using a 2006 model and it seems the tolerances are the same for a wrx and an sti.
Did you ask for specific settings or did they just set it up to within spec.
To be fair I would of set the camber up front and rear aswell but I suppose its wether they were going to charge you extra.

No I did not ask for specific settings, they were just checking and setting after replacing torn CV boot on front of side.

I'd want that doing again, they're not even on each side
Right rear camber for example

Here's mine done last Saturday
Right hand side

No track or racing.

Same as mine above

Slight toe in front and rear
1 degree camber front and rear

Slightly less aggressive than mine that will be

Actually go with bottom left, as they are my older, slightly less aggressive settings

Green are within the recommended limits

Yours aren't actually far off really but they're not balanced

Slight toe in front and rear
Slight negative camber on the front, slightly more on the rear

Matching both sides

Sorted

Try TTS motorsport in Kempston if your going to get it done again.
I would offer to do it but our alignment ramp has packed up and we are awaiting a new one

Deffo get the geo done by a specialist. When I have mine done they have me sit in the car to get the balance right.
