My car, currently running std suspension, '98 PPP, does tend to lift at the front, under hard acceleration. Is this usual, and would fitting the Prodrive suspension package cure this ? Any other cheaper alternatives for when the warranty expires ?

 

This is normal. Changing the springs will help to a degree but what you want on top of that is the Anti-Lift kit.

Whilst you're doing the springs and ALK, I'd get the Bump Steer Mod done too (at Powerstation). The other benefit is that you'll get the Geometry setup properly too.
