Question

Scoobyp1 - What happened to ride, handling, steering response etc?

Cheers,
Simen.

They take a while to settle down but should only drop by about 20mm. To drop them any further on the standard dampers will destroy the handling.

Eibachs improve the handling and steering response so why would you want to go lower at the cost of this? To go proper low without destroying the hanling, you will need adujsable suspension such as Leda/Bilstein/AVO....

The ride is sweet and the handling feels better and it is more responsive. i'll be happy with a 20mm drop to be honest as i have 8x18' OZ Superleggera's on it and they do stick out a bit.
Can i recommend Ohlin's Dampers if u want to bring the car down, they are compatible with eibach springs and are quite sweet.
My mate has a set and he loves them

The Eibachs on my MY00 that Mutant_Matt very kindly had fitted have visibly lowered the car, this could bee seen aat the Surrey meet when i parked next to Scoob_Babe's car.

Also the ride is not too harsh (which is a major bonus for me!)

Question

Scooby P1

You fitted Eibachs to a P1 and wonder why it didn't lower the car
I thought the P1 had Prodrive(Eibachs) and Billies on anyway as standard?
