Possible faulty coilover, advice please
Hello chaps
Hope you are well?
just over 2 months ago I purchased my first scoob, 55 Hawk WRX STI ... after the first service with Rich @ FB we discovered the rear shocks had given up, apparently this is a known issue so we opted for coil over’s, I purchased BC racing BR series for about £800 and then paid Rich labour and £120 to have the car laser aligned, after everything was sorted I ended up paying out about £1100, anyway to cut a long story short I was driving back from Watford on Saturday and the front left strut started making an awful knocking sound, I managed to drive the car back slowly and have a look, there is nothing loose ... I phoned Rich @ FB and he said it sounds like a faulty damper in the strut
My question is if this is the case, should BC replace the strut and pay for labour and re alignment? I’m also looking at having to pay to have the car put on a pickup and delivered to FB ... even more money
Opinions please
