hey people i have bought some second hand coilovers and i have freed up all 4 lock nuts on the coilovers but the nut which the spring sits on is seized soild on all 4 shocks, does anyone no any tricks at un seizing them or is it just brute force?

Lots and lots of WD40 or penetrating spray?

Heat the ring and use wire brush on threads done it loads of times worked every time don't let the heat get to strut to much just expanded the ring
