I was quoted £150 per corner by tein in milton keynes about 4 years ago when my type HA coilovers were knocking.

Only a Tein dealer can sort a rebuild. Tien Uk wont deal with the public. We are a Tein dealer if you want us to get a quote.

Had a quote from them of £260 per damper, and a 3 week turnaround dependant on parts from japan.

Not really keen on spending that sort of money on one corner, considering the others may go at any time... May just bite the bullet and buy a new set

To put that into perspective BC Racing BR Series damper bodies are £92.50 and if not in stock then we have an air order go through every tuesday to arrive with us the following Monday

Bren, might be a stupid question but could i rebuild my Tein with a BC body?

Or did you just mean that the price of the spares for the bc are much cheaper if and when you ever need them?

Can you pm me a price for a set of BC for my Impreza bugeye please? It's a wrx so 5x100.

Sorry, I didnt mean to mislead. No you cannot use a BC Racing damper body with a Tein strut. Im just comparing repair costs and lead times on the two brands.

The BR Series kits are £699 with free extenders and carriage

Lots of kits for your car in stock (27 to be exact).
