New suspension but ride height looks iffy..
Just had low mileage STI suspension fitted to my WRX wagon.. Drives and feels great but when it's sat on the level, free of any load etc, the front is higher than the rear. Measured ride height, rim to arch on the front is 20mm higher than rear?? Any reason for this?

I would not fit 2nd hand STI shocks as they don,t last long tbh. Not a lot you can do with the ride height. That,s the benefit of adjustable coilovers.

Did you particularly want the rock hard STI suspension? You're better of with a more compliant aftermarket setup as opposed to the jumpy STI standard setup. You may be better off selling the cra* STI stuff and getting some coilovers or Eibach springs.

Wagon springs have longer free length compared to saloon springs, hence the lower rear ride height when installing saloon suspension on a wagon.
For the going rate of used STi suspension, its still a decent cheap mod for WRX's. Though the valving on those struts are a bit stiff, they do smooth out at speed. Low speed is pretty jiggly though. Just keep the rear struts lubed and you'll keep the typical knocking issues at bay.
If you want to keep those struts, you can install STi springs with a bit of rake and it will even out the ride height. You can use Prodrive STi struts, for example. Those actually smooth the ride a bit. I've found that stiffer springs tend to smooth out STi struts quite a bit.
