Default Knocking noise 2005 wrx

Knew it had to happen with all the luck ( not ) I have had since buying my 55 playte wrx the latest thing is the rear passenger side shock is knocking !!

31k on the clock and lowered suspension

noticed it the other night, does not appear to do it whilst on the straight but upon turning a corner you can here it, if the car is stationary and you push the rear suspension down on the same corner you can here the same noise.

sound like its deffinatly the shocker ?? if so what you talking about for a set off shockers to suit the 55 plate blobeye ??

is there a DIY fix for the above ??

I have the same problem on my 56 wrx, there is a DIY fix. It invloves stripping them and re greasing them. Although this is only temporary and may last 6months..

I've tried to source KYB shockers from other suppliers but to no avail, its either go through the dealer for oe shockers (same problem may occur a year later as the shockers have not been revised) or go aftermarket, Coilovers or shockers etc. For the price of dealer shockers you could get a full set of BC coilovers lol

Why ??

1 set of bc coilovers , camber bolts rear ,fitted to car , then a full 4 wheel alignment , track , camber and caster angle adjusted , fitted at a garage ....

I think that's a good price ..
