Default Newage STI struts overhaul: how to?

So before having my pro drive springs fitted I think sorting the struts out might be a good idea as I have recently started to here some knocking at low speeds like when starting off, slowing right down, coming out of the drive etc from the rear and the front drivers side. I was planning on having the springs fitted by a specialist along with the anti lift kit at the same time as having geometry done.

What I want to know is how easy is it to overhaul the struts and what do you actually have to do? Does this cure the knocking problem and is there anything else that should be done when changing springs with oem struts.

Is there a how to guide anywhere???

Thanks

Oem? That's a much more expensive route and considering they have only started to knock and not that loud too, I think it's a little hasty legging them in the bin.

Works out at approx £482 for the Kyb struts, plus the £150 I paid for the pro drive springs and I may swell had bought some bc coilovers! Nah not getting rid, overhaul it needs to be, maybe will change if they get real bad in the future.

Still need some info on how to though...
