Suspension Help!!
HELP!!!
I'm in need of new skocks all round on my 97 Sti, but i need to keep standard ride height as the bumper and exhaust catch already catch on speed bumps etc
Been looking at KYB AGX's, any reviews??
Any other ideas? and where to buy?
Cheers in advance

With a standard fixed perch damper, its your spring that will determine your ride height. you can use a KYB, Tokico, Bilstein, etc. You will always have the same ride height. So go out and buy the best you can afford!
The AGX's are a decent budget damper. I prefer the Koni but the insert can be a bit of a pain to install compared to a complete strut like the AGX. The Koni has better valving but on the other hand, isn't as robust as the AGX. Especially in off road type situations. The AGx's compression valving can get a bit harsh on some bumps, depending on the spring. The Koni is smoother. Pick your poison!

Sorry, I'm in Germany, no idea who's selling what. If you are going for AGX's, google is your friend! Just do a search and see who has the best prices shipped. If you need to have them installed, find the best/closest Scooby suspension Specialist you can get to that sells them or can get them. Its worth supporting your local specialist as you can build a long time relationship with them as they care for your car. Scoobynet vendors are also worthy of support so see if any of them have anything for sale.
You can also look at Whiteline's Dealer listing, especially their "Whiteline Performance Centers". Its a bit of an odd way to look at it but, as an authorized suspension tuner (for Whiteline) at least you can be sure that they know how to properly install and set up suspension on a Scoob. They should also be able to locate the struts for you, if they aren't stockists already. If you can find them cheaper(delivered from online purchase), they would still be a better place to have your stuff installed rather than Joe mechanic down the road.
