Default Hit a kerb (what damage)?

Hi all,
I have a 1995 wrx which i lost control of on ice last night while traveling at about 15-20mph,
It did a 180 spin and then hit the drivers side rear wheel on a curb.
The wheel is damaged but it also looks like the wheel is sitting at a different angle,
It looks like the bottom of the wheel has been pushed in so the top is leaning out.
It seems to drive ok but doesn't look right, i have had a look under it but cant see anything obviously bent.
Has anyone any idea what i could of bent?

My brother hit a kerb doing about 5mph in his A6 last year and the quote to fix it from Audi was over 3 grand!!

He got it sorted for less but the damage was extensive.

Get it looked at professionally.

Hi,

You may find you have bent the following:

Lateral links
The long bolt that holds them on
Twisted the trailing arm
Bent the hub carrier
Bent/broken the shock absorber

Only real way to tell is to get it looked at.

Bent hub probably

Check the rear drive shaft and control/trailing arms.

You need it on a ramp really to look properly

Thanks for the advice guys, I will get under it had have another look at the parts that have been said.
If i cant see anything i will take it some where.
Once i have fitted new part(s) i will take it for a full geometry set up.

sounds like wishbone mate, would make sense with a side on hit. is it sitting further back / forward?

the most common damage we see after hitting the rear wheel sideways is for the hub to bend...........no obvious damge to see generally apart from "positive" wheel camber (top of wheel poking out of arch)

Thanks for all the replys,
After stripping it down for a closer look it seems I have bent the hub and the shock.
The lateral arms and everything else looks ok.
Just got to try and source 1 wheel as it is buckled and has a nasty dent.
