As I say, if you can drive at VERY high speeds (ie 140mph turn-in) and not need to use brakes then a thicker bar will suit as you have a smooth, flowing driving style. If you have the weight moving all over the place 'cos you're constantly stomping on the anchors then burying the throttle, then you need thinner bars or the car will be too twitchy.

i currently have a rear 24 mm adjustable whiteline anti roll bar, not done the front as was told it would bring the understeer back to the car, but would be interested to hear how people have got on with theirs when theyve upgraded both front and rear.

Sounds like a plan to me middle or hard will work depending on how aggressive you are. Middle works fine for me when I am being smooth but the back end is nicely behaved and controllable even when hunting roundabouts Fixed front and adjustable rear is probably all I needed to be fair

What dampers ?
Mine was vastly improved with a 22/22 combo, but when I changed the tired suspension that stiffened things up considerably.
Adjustable allows you to fine tune the handling to suit, IMHO.

totally new dampers/springs, kayaba agx 4 lvl front/ 8 lvl rear, eibach pro kit springs f/r. all on the firmer side, nice ride, firmer than standard red sti dampers but good composture when driving hard!

sorry for hijacking but i have a wagon with 22mm adjustable rear set to middle, super pro droplinks front and rear and sti front upper strut brace, car is pretty fun at that and can get the back end out fairly well, is there any point getting a front arb or h brace to firm things up more or will it spoil my fun?

IMHO fitting a front bar will increase the overall grip of the car, but I had to go to the stiffest setting at the rear to get a nice balance to the handling, for me of course. Front brace will do no harm, I have one.

P.S. I have a pair of 22mm adjustable bars on a new-age STI.
