Default Whiteline front drop links.

Hoping someone can answer this, are the front drop links the same on a newage as a classic ie the same part?

Thanks.

It's worse, it depends on whether your car has steel or alloy wishbones !

The type R has alloy wishbones but the droplinks that are for sale second hand has no part number so unsure what they came off.

Never mind it was worth a try, thanks for your help.

ask for a picture if theyre rose jointed theyre for use with alloy arms, if theyre not..theyre for use with steel arms but i rekon if you used a spacer so they didnt sit at an angle, you could use the ones from steel arms, on alloy arms.

hi bud thats klc 30 for steel arms 8mm hole at the bottom 10mm hole at the top the 10mm bolt goes through the anti roll bar 8mm goes through the location bracket on the wishbone. the klc 32 has 10mm hole top and btm along with spacers to take up the distance from the alloy w/bone to the arb
if you look at the w/bone you will see that the location bkt is angled . the rose joint d/links have spacers also but the rose joints move taking up the differecnce between both .
i would always recomend klc 32 over the steel rose joint type
the 32 also fits some later sti rear arbs also
cheers geo

Thanks guy's you have answered my question.
Looks like the drop links for sale are for the steel arms so no good for me.

BTW what is the threaded part of the adjustable drop link for how do you know where to set it?

Thanks.
