Prodrive springs are probably the best along with Eibach [for performance] and yes springs are fine on their own. 15-20mm is a safe drop.

I wentfor Eibach springs, lowered my Blob by 25 to 30mm. No problem with clearing speed humps. Be sure to have your geometry reset if you go for it.
Are you lowering for looks or reduced roll?

Hi I have a 04 blobeye wrx and thinking of getting springs. Am after little performance plus looks tbh. Not major performance which means ££££'s.

Cheers

Uprating to a 24mm adjustable rear ARB will have a far bigger and better effect on the cars handling than the springs. ARB with uprated sold droplinks around £270. Springs fitted and geometry, reckon on about £550. The springs finish things off if you don't want to go down the coilover route.
