Default eibach springs

just fitted a set of eibach springs to my standard wrx 55 plate. getting a knocking from both sides when i go over bumps. checked them again to make sure they were fitted correct and they look fine. noticed that the standard springs are flat at the top, and the eibach are round all the way up. im thinking that the coil of the springs are knocking against each other. can someone help with this problem. Tam.

Are the lowest couple of turns touching each other at all?
I had a piece of rubber hose put on the bottom so it wasn't metal on metal.
Sounds familiar to your noise.

Some specialists fit the hose as a matter of course. Try this as your first port of call.

Can you confirm the year of your WRX and the part numbers on the springs you installed? Are the writing and numbers on each spring upright? Please email me direct at tjackson@eibach.com or pdiep@eibach.com
