Default sti shocks

hi guys,am i right in thinking that new-age sti shocks have 'shorter' springs than a new-age wrx.ive been offered a set at a reasonable price and ive been wanting to lower the car just a tad for a while now.i know i could get new springs but these shocks are pretty cheap.oh are they firmer too?thanks peeps.

Hi, the STI set-up is firmer and will seem less comfy over bumps, I'd really prefer to fit the matching struts & springs together as Subaru did this for a reason.

IMHO
