BC Coilovers, Ride height out of the box?
Have got some BR series coilovers today and am having them fitted locally but not having the proper geo setup for a couple of weeks, does anybody know what the rideheight will be as they come out the box. Car is an 05sti with prodrive springs at the moment.
Also, has everybody left the spring platform at the factory setting and just set the rideheight with the bottom mount?
Can't comment on the ride and handling yet but they certainly look the part, hope they still look as good after a british winter.

I've just fitted some to my hawkeye mate and I left the front hight at the setting they came out of the box, and thats as low as my front could go as the flaps are dragging on the floor, but the back I decided to lower them 1" more than they came out of the box, with the ride hight im at now I can still go over speed humps and the front splitter doesn't catch.
Here's a couple of pics of mine, these were took the first day I had them fitted and they have settled a little more now:

Out of the box they are stupid low, way too low, your lower arms at the front will be at a bad angle.
I added 15turns/30mm (1 turn = 2mm) to all, that gave a 25-30mm lowering all round.

Thanks for the replies.
I think i'll raise them 25mm before i get them fitted, yours looks too low for me Shane, i'll have to take a stanley knife to my prodrive mudflaps though, they scrape on my driveway as it is.
