STI lateral links & trailing link set.....worth it?
I will be replacing the lateral links and trailing links on my STI 5, now I can get the standard items (lateral links x4 & trailing arms x2) for approx £50 in total second hand.
However I have seen and heard about the upgraded STI links and trailing arm sets, near bottom of page-> http://www.japanparts.com/db/partsli...dle=3&small=18
only problem is for both sets the cost is approx £260, are they worth it???
I can imagine combined with a whiteline arb it will stiffen the rear of the car quite abit.
The car is used mostly at weekends, with the odd trackday planned for next year, so if im going to be replacing them, is it worth getting the upgraded STI items?

Yes they are worth it otherwise STI wouldn't have bothered developing them and fitting them to cars such as the S204 and the Spec C Type RA. They offer improved stability and grip of the rear end.

I have the Whiteline version on my hillclimb Sti v3.
They come with hard bushes, and I added the powerflex bushes in the links too.
If you are doing this mod, i would add for little cost:
Whiteline rear diff locking bolts and subframe bushes to tie the whole rear end tight.
You will NOT notice much change in noise/vibration, just a stiff rear end...
