Needs new coil springs urgently - 02 STI
Had a clunking on the front end for a few weeks and thought nothing of it. Replaced the front discs and brakes yesterday and noticed the front coil spring has snapped about 3-4 inches from the bottom!
Subaru want £160 per spring and I would ideally need to do both fronts!!
Any recommendations on good after market sets as they seem cheaper for all 4.
What are PI or H&R springs like? I'm not wanting to spend a great deal and not really after any improvement in handling or looks. I'll be doing the work myself as I've done many of these before.
Any advise would be great

Looking on ebay, not a lot around. Couple of full sus struts but quite expensive and i'm a bit worried of what condition they may be in if of similar age as mine snapped for no reason. Never hit a pothole or anything. If i'm going to stripped the strut down i'd rather put new ones in I think.
