springs and alignment done today by curtis at PS, good quick service and very interesting even if i dont know my toe in from my *** out!

and heres something i didnt expect... been having big probs with power delivery last few weeks- subaru said yesterday that they need the car in casue their monitor said it was dropping boost pressure? anyway- drove to PS, power was sh1te- left PS power was superb and back to normal!!!! maybe my ecu is hidden in the shocks!

odd but good!

Tiggs

ps- subaru wanted 1hr per corner labour to do the spings only! 2 hours at PS and they were already doing the alignment!

Tiggs,

How are you getting on with them, have you been out for a proper run yet?

yep- superb, ride is hardly any different if at all. the car looks loads better- far lower than i thought it would look bearing in mind its only 20mm.

no roll in corners feels much more stable, especially braking into a corner, it doesnt dive onto the front outside wheel as you turn/brake into the bend.

and front end feel is loads better, no understeer (even in wet today) much shaper.

well worth it

Question

Hi Tiggs,

How much did the springs cost? I didn't know that Prodrive supplied springs on their own, just as part of the handling package?

Cheers,

Tony.
