wot you running your dms on?

Had mine fitted the other week, am currently running the recommended settings that came in the instructions (10 i think it is).
I find this quite hard (almost to evo levels) but VERY planted, but i noticed as i zipped down some very bumpy b roads on sunday that the car crashes through pot holes and when you hit a series of bumps i felt like a pea on a kettle drum at last night of the proms!
Felt far from in control.
what's everyone else running on there dms and how are they finding it?
Having ridden in a friends LEDA car, i found his to be generally MUCH softer, tho we didnt really push it to see how well it handles at speed.
But currently the DMS is much harder than my sti5 shocks with sti lowered springs!

PT, if memory serves me right, the recommended settings from DMS were (as a start) 17 clicks.
To me that felt just a bit stiffer than the standard suspension, but surely not uncomfortable.
I now have them at 22 clicks rear and 24 clicks front. That is my personal compromise. Mind you, I do have the ALK/rollbars/STi top mounts/endlinks/bumpsteer on there as well. Wheels are 17" (215/40)
Now what we don't know if they consistently sell the same springs etc, so this might be totally off for you.
HTH,
Theo
Oh, just found the papers again... yeah, 17 clicks it was.

Just reporting in from the USA...what spring rates are you running? I'm running the 180/180 combination, and have never felt any instability, nor should it crash over potholes. It's just supposed to soak 'em up. My settings are 1 inch down, and in the middle (15 clicks) from full hard.

Hmmm. If you pop your wheels off, somewhere on the side of the spring will be the rate. You can probably also hazard a good guess from when you got them. More recently, DMS has been specifying 180/180 as the supplied rates. Older sets got 225/180 spring sets.
Mine do indeed have 30 clicks of adjustment.
