rear shocks
looks like my rear shocks have gone on my04 sti. i know this is a common prob but what would be a good option to replace them with?
and how much will it affect driving until i get them done, what i mean is have i got to slow right down or can i still give it some beans through the corners

that ain`t right mate mostly the clunking noise is the piston jamming then relasing so really it isn`t just a noise and can cause dodgy candling while cornering. i need mine done again only at 17k

The US guys have had good success regreasing the top bush with thick axle/wheel bearing or marine grease as '04 STi rear strut repacking (part 1) - ScoobyMods its a cheap fix, one Forester guy has since done 30K miles since regreasing with no problems, its worth a try, do it as soon as possible before the bush wears.
