Question

How'd you find the ride with these springs on standard dampers?
Is it ok, or do you find it too soft and bouncy?

I got a quote for £349 supplied and fitted Eibachs today from Elite in Essex, I'm not convinced that the rides going to be ruined doing this though, I fitted some Pi springs to me VR6 and the ride verged on being s0dding dangerous at speed.

Thumbs up

John,

I've just had some Eibach springs fitted to my OEM dampers (MY99 RB5). The difference isn't huge or immediately obvious, but on the twisty stuff and at high speed, the car feels a lot more stable. Definetly doesn't roll as much as the standard springs and doesn't understeer as much on turn-in to slow corners.

The springs cost £115 (all in) from NAM and the Dealer charged about £100 to fit. I had it done same time as the 30K service, so saved a bit on labour. Apparently it's a 4hr job on it's own.

Wink

Yeah, after seeing a few cars at Brands Hatch today what my car needs is being at tad closer to the tyres

Have you measured the centre of the wheel to the top of the arch?
Just wondered what the drop is with eibachs..
