I'm not sure where to go since i've no real clue about how to tune suspension appart from the basics such as the diffence between regular suspension and coilovers for instance.....

I'm modifying the Ra for fast road/track so i'm looking for more than just a set of coil overs, i've heard Whiteline are very good but i'm not sure which bits will actually benefit me?

hi mate
there have been loads of posts regarding this kind of thing, and the answers always seem to be: stiffer antiroll bars, heavy duty droplinks, anti-lift kit (need geo alignment after) and uprated steering rack bushes while you are at it.

now i know my WRX wagon in stock form wont be as hardcore suspension wise as your RA, but i went to a whiteline rear ARB and droplinks and that alone (bout £150 with a discount) made a fantastic difference. do all the above, and if your standard dampers are in good working order a set of descent uprated springs might give you all you need, and would certainly be great on the road, and cost well under a K including the alignment

You could also have a look at the article in the August issue (#91 I think) about a total suspension upgrade on an RA.
