Default MY05 WRX 4dr Front Droplinks

This may have been asked before but I cant find it...

I have a 2005 WRX saloon which has alloy front wishbones and (I think) metal droplinks (definately not plastic like the rear). Look like little rods with ball joints at the end I think.

I am going to change the rear ARB & links and was thinking of changing the front links for some solid alloy ones but I am thinking its probably not worth it as they are solid (I think) anyway.

Any ideas ??

Out of interest, did pre 2005 WRX's have plastic front links and steel wishbones ?

Cheers
