P1 handling on MY00 car??

If I wanted P1-type handling on my standard UK My00 (which of course I do) how do I go about it?
Obviously P1 shocks and springs but is there anything else I need to do?
Do I need things like solid links and alu wishbones too? Also how feasible (cost etc) is it to fit a quick rack to my car?
questions, questions........
PS. the above assumes 17" wheels and geometry already sorted

1. How much do you want to spend?
2. What characteristics of the P1's handling are you trying to achieve? Or looking at it another way, what don't you like about how your car handles?
IMHO fitting P1 suspension is not the way to go - I think you'd be better off talking to Scoobysport, TSL or Powerstation about what you specifically want to achieve.
Just my thoughts.....

Cheers for the replies guys.
I'm not sure what I want to change about my car but having just test driven a P1 there just seemed to be a lot less body roll and it was just generally more surefooted. Admittedly my car's on std shocks and 16" wheels which I guess will account for some of the body roll.
I may have the opportunity to get my hands a set P1 shocks and springs for about £500 or a Prodrive set for about £800. I think £800 is probably my limit as I'm doing the wheels, brakes and PPP at the same time (££££££).
As an aside, 17's or 18's? The P1 I drove was on 18's and I must admit I did like the ride.....

All that said I do, of course, have a set of Eibachs sitting in my garage that I haven't got round to fitting yet.
Perhaps I should fit those and maybe get the bushes done too and see how that goes before I commit to a whole new suspension setup........
God knows..............

If you decide to get a new setup, give me a shout and I'll have them there springs of you
Go on, get some news, go on, go on, go on, go on (in an annoying transvestite Irish wort on face voice )

Simon,
I just had Eibachs and geom done - highly recommended, see here:http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/threa...threadid=65864
I'd suggest getting yourself up to Powerstation, who are fairly local to you, and getting the Eibachs on and geometry done.
Talk to them though they might suggest something else....
Cheers
