camber bolts on the rear
I’m thinking about adding a rear camber kit, is this odd?
The reason I’m looking to do this is I’ve read an article on the AutoSpeed website that reviewed fitting a 22mm rear adjustable arb, a front 22mm arb and a anti lift kit as part of a whiteline handling kit.
The article then states:-
This might seem like an unusual mod to the rear of a WRX - which we generally try to make 'active' at the rear - but the primary intention is to allow you to adjust the rear swaybar to its firmest setting. You see - without the camber kit and the rear 'bar set at its firmest - the rear-end can snap oversteer when you back off the throttle suddenly. Adding rear negative camber lessens this tendency and makes the car more forgiving to drive.
I intent to add a 24mm rear arb as the general consensus is 24mm rear 22mm front.
How many of you are running a 24mm rear arb with rear camber bolts?
If you haven’t got rear camber bolts do you experience any “snap oversteer”?

Can't say I've experienced the oversteer with my new suspension, but I did once with the old set up. The reason I'm putting rear camber bolts on in when I got the geometry set up there was a degree difference in neg camber between left and right and no way to adjust it. Simple fox for about £20 incl delivery from the US was a set of 4 camber bolts.

Why not ask if anyone has any front ones you could buy and fit in the rears?
