hi guys

just found out my rear passenger struts has gone so need to get the set replaced. as the cost to do the lot from from the dealership will not be far off having the lot done but upgraded at the time.

need some advice though which option shall i go for? intended use road and some track days so would like to keep some comfort in driving around town.

1) replace with secondhand STD STI shocks and springs? £375 form jap performance parts.

2) or at the same time uprate the springs to TIEN -S or Ebiachs on secondhand std STI shocks.

3) go with a new set of KYB Adjustables (good value for money little more but new) plus uprated springs as above?

4) or go full out and get coilovers

guys please need some pointers how do each fair up, who is running on what and how do they find it?

was also going to have some whitleine bits fitted too, ALK, Rear ARB, Rear Alloy DL.

Read "Searching for the perfect chassis" in projects. Best set aside a couple of hours to do so though.
