Looking at the sti one.
Anyone using one?

The dealer fit subaru ones cool - carbon with gold ends. cost £230 ish fitted!!!

Mark, I remember reading somewhere that on the MY01 a strut brace is not necessary as the chassis is considerably stiffer than earlier models, a friend at Subaru said they were fitted to sti's as a "justification ,or hey mine is better than yours ...cos.."
they look good though .

Yup - I was going to post that earlier - the MY01 shell is 250% stiffer than the previous car, and it doesn't need one. It's a cosmetic thang, except nobody will see it under the bonnet

I had the subaru one fitted about two months after delivery (the part was late arriving). It did not make any difference whatsoever to the handling.

Alledgedly it makes a difference once you lower the car according to some.. not me, can't feel much if any difference...

Having said that, I am a bit pi$$ed that the STi7 type UK doesn't come with one!!!
