05STI>03WRX Wagon?
Will a set of STI springs from an 05 STI saloon go on an 03 wrx wagon? Will it give any benefit or will it handle like a pile of poo due to the weight over the back end?
TIA
Andy.

Try NASIOC for info it's good for this sort of thing.
BUT, wagons run a narrower track than STI, so maybe not.
Also wagons don't weigh much more than saloons suprisingly...

the rear springs changed at 04MY the top coil diameter changed, so the rear springs won't fit your topmounts, and the 05 topmounts won't fit your strut as they changed that joint as well.
Also any saloon rear spring will lead to 'butt sag' on a wagon as the rear end is heavier, compare a GB270 saloon and wagon on Prodrive springs (designed to be used on both) and you'll notice the wagon is flat and the saloon's rear is about 3/4" higher than the front.
If your using your shocks the strut difference saloon to wagon is not relevant!

Thanks for clearing that up for me, it was just on the off chance that i asked as a mate offered me some for free. Guess i will just have to go with the origional plan of getting some prodrive ones.
