We are insured with Hastings Direct £655 full comp + £80 for Minor mods like OZ wheels and Morettes. So I asked if there would be any premiuon increase if we fitted Coilover suspension upgrade, I was gobsmacked by the answer and extra £350. yep you read it correctly.

What planet are they on ??? anyone had similar problems or have you naughty boys out there not declared this sort of upgrade...

Cool

NP with NFU

Only get antsy with performance mods, not suspension, beauty or stopping mods

However, quickshift caused some concern - same as a BB

I have spoken to the broker who does my bike insurance and have a quote from Royal Sun Alliance for £710, all non performance mods included, lights, wheels, suspension, spoilers...

Time for a change I think

Tesco were only interested in the price of the parts when I enquired about suspension changes....no increase in premium.
