It all depends on what you want, do you want to improve the handling? Do you want something that won't rattle your fillings out on the Great British roads? Is the car a daily driver or a track day warrior? If you expand on what you want people will be able to give you a better steer.

Personally, I'm fitting some whiteline flat out springs with some KYB AGX shocks. This will lower the car quite a bit but remain supple enough for the little road use it gets, especially with wife, 2 kids and a dog in tow. I have found that the cheapest place to get the shocks is in the states and pay to import them if you go for the KYB AGX.

I would avoid coilovers then. If you can afford it I would get a set of KYB AGX adjustable shocks and then a decent set of springs, choice from Eibach, Whiteline, Prodrive or Tein, depending upon your budget and/or height drop you want.

Try here for the shocks....eBay Motors: KYB AGX STRUTS SHOCKS SUBARU WRX SEDAN 02 - 03 (item 160134605352 end time Jul-07-07 13:47:48 PDT)

I'm about to order mine as the exchange rate is getting worse again.
