Default Front Droplinks

Hi,

Just after a bit of advice, one of the front droplinks on the front of my '03 STI appears to have broken apart, the top link to the ARB has come apart leaving the 'cup & ball' attached to the ARB.
Does anyone know how to remove these? I am thinking that I need a ball joint splitter to pop the joint off the ball then I can grip the ball and undo the nut holding it onto the wishbone and to the ARB.

Thanks in advance.

If the same as a classic:

You need a 14mm ring spanner and a 4 or 5mm allen key.

The key goes into the threaded end of the shaft which stops it turning as you use the spanner to undo the nut.

Thats it. Dead simple.

Check the other side is ok!

Yes, you are quite right,

They are the same, didn't see the hole for the allen key before.

Changed to alloy whiteline links now, problem sorted.

Many Thanks
