Default Can i fix this coilover??

ive got some hks hypermax D coilovers on my car, one of the rear shocks has completely shot in compressing the spring with it, its looks completely knackerd,. does any1 know if i can get this reconditioned or wher i can buy just a 1 coilover or a pair for the rear.... many thanks

Always replace in pairs/same axle.

I think Ebay is your best bet, but a tough task I think.

can i leave the hks coilovers on the front, and on the rear put some whiteline flatout springs on o.e shocks, if i was to get a full geometery setup after fitting the above, would the handling be ok for fast road use, thanks

Question:
Do you really need these coil-overs?

A nice road car is Sti dampers with Eibach springs and Whiteline anti roll bars topped off with a good alignment.
An ALK and camber bolts would help too.

Proven formula for a good road car, and a fast one too.
All the parts work together, are matched and will inspire confidence and be safe.

WHat he said ^^^^^

I had this set up on mr road car and it was excellent, although aesthetically springs could do with being a little lower.
Don't think coilovers are necessary at all on a daily driver.
