Default WRX Prodrive springs

Guys
Am I correct in assuming that the WRX blobeye springs lower the car by approx 20-25mm. Also do they give a firmer/softer/same ride as the standard springs. If fitted on their own do they offer any improvement in handling and what difference to the ride can I expect.

Thanks for the info.

I had them fitted to my 05 wrx; makes the handling much better (combine it with getting the geometry setup). It is stiffer, however not too much imho.

Next up may I suggest whiteline rear arb (and more power)...

Thanks guys pretty much what I thought. Car going to dealer tomorrow as I have Rear Right shock knackered creaking and groaning all the time and seems to be sticking in certain possitions. When you push on the back it makes horrible noises. Had the car up on a set of ramps and checked for play in all the suspension bushes and all fine no evidence of anything else out of the ordinary so will see what they have to say tomorrow, car still under warranty so cant see any issues. Are the standard shocks prone tp problems or am i just unlucky. Can the dealer set the geometry up or is this best done by more specialist company.
