Default creaking on classic WRX - speed bumps

Have had my WRX for 10 months now & the creaking from the front end is getting worse when I go over speedbumps. Car is 11 years old now, but have no idea if the shocks or anything else have ever been changed but it's just gone thru the MOT with no problems.

Any ideas what it's likely to be? Don't want to start replacing everything on the front end just yet.

It seems that to get rid of all the 'noises' on our NEW AGE X (84k) we replaced all the moving parts short of the steering rack. Of course most of the parts we picked up on NASIOC and for a song most of the time. A lot of my creaking was due to the stiffness of our set up too...which went away after we addressed that nonsense. My last trick was to replace the front control arm bolts with new ones + grease the heck out of them. That one thing eliminated a 'crack' sound on sharp bumps and turns
