Default Suspension swop over on 02WRX

Will be having some springs and shocks fully built up for my bugwrx, is this a job that can be done with decent toolkit and a trolley jack?

Regards

Yes, but shouldn't you get the gearbox fixed first?

Beware of the camber bolt positions on the front struts. Try and mark them up with some Tippex before removal.

If they have been in a while be prepared to get a big extension bar!! The clips on the brake hoses on the back struts can be a pain too.

If the bushes etc are in good condition you will have a few scrapped knuckles trying to get the legs fitted back in the bottoms. And if you are fitting Eibachs the rear mounts on my Wagon WRX 01 needed changing to later model mounts.

Apart from that no problems.

I fitted JDM STi shocks and Eibachs to mine.

Looks much better.

What you got cookey?

I have got some Eibachs coming, they will arrive tomorrow morning.

They are already built up with shock though, as the shocks the guy im getting them from had half the miles of my car so it a bonus alround.

Should just be a simple swop over as they are from the same year car as mine
