Question Has anyone tried a Spax RSX Suspension Kits

Has anyone fitted or tried a Spax RSX555 Suspension Kits to their Scooby? Just wondering if they were any good. They are adjustable in ride height and dampening. Not in the same league as Leda but quite cheap. Any thoughts? Cheers PJ

I like Spax as a manufacturer and have used various suspension kits of theirs on other cars, but have always found that they tend to be quite hard even on the softer settings. Fantastic from a handling point of view but can sometimes be a bit OTT on daily journeys.

That said though I have always found them to be well built and never had any problems.

Gaz, Spax and Leda are all the same in my book - cheap.

You pay for what you get, and if you buy the cheap stuff, you'll end up posting threads about the quality of the units and rattles and bangs.

KW, H&R are a different class, and they are TUV complient.

We had Koni adjustables on our VR6 and they were absolutely fantastic.

I must be out of touch with things. I thought Leda were meant to be good except for their problem rattle especially on the passenger rear suspension leg, and at £1850 not what i would call cheap. I will look into the others, KW and H&R.

Are the Koni's fully adjustable in height, bump and rebound? Or is the bump and rebound done together? What sort of money are they?
