Default Alignment question

Presuming car is looked after, springs are settled, and not kerbed has anyone experienced any drift on settings and if so by how much.

Cheers, Diccy.

Got answer from SC. Shouldn't drift much but wise to check every 18 months or so providing its not been kerbed.

My stiffly sprung hillclimb car gets a hammering of rumble strips at 80 mph etc, but all is well.
PowerStation set-up by Curtis sure helps.(as do good components)
Graham.

Its just that I'm in dispute with a local dealer (that I don't use any more) who denies that he incorrectly aligned my car by a whole 1 deg of neg camber claiming that it must have drifted that much in just 2 months use. Total b*llocks as it would need the adjusting bolt to rotate half a turn whilst tightened to 129 ft-lb..

True.
To fully torque the strut bolts up takes quite a pull on the torque wrench and it also takes some effort to hold the geometry at the same time.
A definite knack!
Good luck,
Graham.

Got all fourwheels set up and sorted a few weeks ago, nearside tyre was wearing alot quicker than the rest, cost about £140.
