suspension top mount pls HELP

suspension top mount pls HELP
i went to fit a front strut brace today and noticed one of the 3 bolts on n/s is loose and wobbling about, how do i fix this, does it need fixed, mot failure? please help........ pic

Awkward!
I had the same on my AST front strut.
You must have 3 tight bolts for the MoT and your well being.
Tighten the other 2 bolts (with the strut brace on)
Remove the loose nut/bolt (not catually a bolt, but a threaded stud that should be projection welded to the top-mount plate, your weld has broken).
Buy a high tensile bolt of the same thread size and length (Halfords) and simply pass through the hole and tighten up.
This will need a very long 3/8 drive socket set holding the head of the bolt while a friend places/tightens the nut.
Job done.

Not at all.
Just looked at where you are 'up north'
A really good/safe guy is Alyn at AS Performance - Rally Motorsport Specialists but a decent small garage will sort it out easy.
Good luck with it. Much simpler to do than me explaining it!
