Would STI 8 Struts and Springs fit an STI 7?

Would STI 8 Struts and Springs fit an STI 7?
I have a set of STI 7 struts with eibach springs.
Would standard STI 8 suspension fit and would they increase the ride height or be harder?
My front shocks are starting to knock a tiny bit and want to replace them, but dont want the ride height to be much different or stiffness as like the setup.
Maybe i can use my eibach springs off my STI 7 setup on the 8's?

look at blue dragoons post further downthis forum. He's just bought my 04 sti suspension and it will fit his 01 wrx (with new rear top mounts) so you should be ok. The ride height will go up unless you keep the eibachs on
