Default 04 JDM STi onto 01 WRX?

I have been offered a complete set of JDM STi Struts with Eibachs springs fitted from a 04 plate car.

I have searched the thread and cannot find a definetive answer on "will they fit my 01 WRX?".

So.

1. Will they fit?
2. Will the brake lines fit the brackets?
3. Struts fit the hubs?
4. Are there any mods I may have to do, top mounts etc?

Any one from PS help out here. Once this is done I can then start on the brakes and mapping, probably at PS. Nudge, nudge, wink, wink.

yes the dampers will fit your car, however, the rear springs on the 01 car were different due to the topmount, so you wont be able to fit the eibachs unless you get the later topmounts for the rear ie 02-07,
regards

Just a thought Ian.... is there a difference between the fitment on the wagon compared to the standard car ?

Since your thinking of fitting them on your wagon it may be best to clarify that as well ..... Curtis ?

Now fitted. They make the car look serious. Less black air around the arches. The rear top mounts need to be from an 02+ car.
Fitted on no problems.

Also, the ARB's are too wide, the track of a wagon is smaller and the ARB's kink inwards unlike the saloon car.

Big thanks to Curtiss for the advice. Looks like I'll need some Powerflex or Whiteline bushes and geometry soon
