Plan of attack...
Ok, I've got a completely stock standard MY99 PPP 4dr sitting in the driveway and I'm wanting to improve the handling/grip and road holding on it before I start to increase the BHP.
This is my list for Stage 1 suspension mods. Please edit/suggest different parts combinations which would be on your list for initial stage of mods.
Whiteline Anti-Lift Kit
Whiteline Rear Droplinks
Whiteline ARBs - Front 22mm Adj and Rear 22mm Adj
17" Alloys (Speedlines or Rotas) with Goodyear F1/Toyo Tyres
Tein Springs
Full 4WD Geometry Set-Up (Prodrive Settings?)
Any other bushes, etc that I should be looking for??
Regarding the ARBs....... I like predictable handling with little or no understeer.. I'd like a pretty much stable, responsive neutral handling car, but I'm not too bothered about a wee bit of oversteer when pushing hard. Is the 22mm adjustable Front and Rear set-up alright for this??
Look forward to some advice..
Cheers,
Grant

A lot of people stick to the 19mm front ARB when using an adjustable 22mm rear.
I can't remember where I read it, but a nice set-up was as follows:
19mm front ARB
Uprated/poly front ARB bushes
Whiteline steel front ARB links
Whiteline road Anti-Lift Kit
Whiteline adjustable 22mm rear ARB (set in middle to begin with, hard setting later on)
Uprated rear ARB brackets (with poly bushes)
Whiteline steel rear ARB links
Decent wheel geometry set up (Prodrive settings or Powerstation)
Spring-wise, Eibachs have a good reputation - they're not overly aggressive and don't slam the car. On our less-than-perfect roads, that means better road-holding. I believe Tein springs offer a similar drop, but not sure on spring rates.

Spooky, this is exactly the set up I have, with Eibachs springs and front and rear strut brace (wagon).
This completetly changed the handling from Understeer to neutral, with much better turn in. Lift off oversteer too, which is fun to play with! Would thoroughly recomend. (Rear Bar and set up made the biggest individual differences)
